36. Plastic waste to fuels by hydrocracking at mild conditions

Image
In this article the idea of recovering different types of gasoline from plastic residues is explored. The researchers select one combination of metallic particles and zeolite as a catalyst and develop different experiments finding, not only that the process is available, but also the possibility of obtaining different mixtures of hydrocarbons by modulating the reaction conditions. Image
Every industrial or waste management action takes place in the fight against Global Warming. This study has analysed in detail the emissions of methane associated with the Oil & Gas industry in the Texas-New Mexico region, with a new method that combines land measurements and images from the satellite TROPOMI . This work provides us with new information about this particular activity and we hope it results interesting for you all.
