46. Together Is Better: The Rumen Microbial Community as Biological Toolbox for Degradation of Synthetic Polyesters

        Cows eating plastic. We know that sounds like a crazy story or perhaps a problem in the cattle raising industry, but it happens to be one possible future for plastic management. At least, this article represents the first step in that direction, determining how groups of bacteria and other microorganisms are able to degrade different sorts of plastic. We are really surprised that we haven't seen it in the global media yet, but here we are to fix it.
