31. Seagrasses provide a novel ecosystem service by trapping marine plastics

        In this article, the authors try to answer the question of where is the missing plastic in the ocean. Studies so far show that the majority of this plastic is in the sea bottom, but here they add another place where the wastes of our throw-away society end: the seagrass.
